I finally put a few things in my Etsy, I've been meaning to do this for months! I have more items coming soon and hope to get some business. It's Monday!

It is Monday...and that title is full of sarcasm,I'm never excited about Monday.

I'm not linking up to All About MEme Monday because I have never bought anything off tv but there are some great blogs on "Made for TV" so y'all go check them out.

Today is just a rambling blog...which is why I started blogging to begin with. 

It has turned so cold again...that is not good for this pain but the good news is I go to the dr. Thursday for his final diagnosis and hopefully some pain meds ...if for nothing else to help me sleep. I take pics and all I see are dark circles...that is so not cool!

I am also having the dreaded MRI Thursday....

I have really neglected my etsy lately and I have actually been selling things. Although I did sell something the other day that I donated for Jadena nd had to explain why it was still listed and I'll give you 4 free...blah blah blah.

She was really sweet and said she would take some other pins.

Thank God...What I did ...or didn't do was take the item off of the list for sell. I also didn't have any more of that super cool paper to make any more like the ones she ordered!

Oh well...it's all taken care of.

Sunday I wore one of my rolled roses headbands to church and had a lot of compliments on it...that makes me smile.

 :)

I have several people who ask where the etsy was and I told them I would be making more but if they wanted certain colors just to let me know and I would do some custom jobbies. Same goes for bloggy friends!

RAMBLINGS

I got up this morning and Britt had turned the heater on,I love the way it smells the first time youi use it for the season.

It makes me want to make chilli and curl up on the couch watching movies all day.

We did have to turn it off though because Mr. Sun poked his head out...I am not complaining!

I went out on the porch to try and get some good pics of new items for my Etsy and kept hearing a loud buzz,got to looking around and thee is a young buck lying next to my house. The buzz are the flies....guess he didn't make it across the road in time. Britt has a job when he gets home...better him than me. :(

Also if your the praying type, my brother has been admitted to the hospital. He got bit by a spider and it is bad. It is infected and he is on IV pain meds and IV antibiotics. Please pray he gets better soon and the infection is not MRSA or staph,still waiting on test results.

Who knew I had another one in me! SHIRTS AND RINGS!

I'm blogging twice in one day...haven't done that in a while. I wanted to post a few quick pics of what I have been up to today.

I have been lurking over at My Mama Made It for some time now and you guys should go check her out because she makes some of the ca-u-test! shirts by refashioning old shirts.
So we had this yard sale not to long ago and had some old clothes left over that didn't sell. I got one of the jersey long sleeve tees that was Britt's or one of my brothers...anyway, and I practiced on it. I like how it turned out. I think I'll look for one of mine that actually fits me and do the same thing.
Sorry no before pics but y'all know what a long sleeve tee looks like...right?
I cut the bottom off and cut it into strips and cut the sleeves down and cut them into strips and cut the neck out a bit. I ruffled all the strips and sewed them onto the shirt.

Now don't pay attention to the pajama pants,I know your jealous cause they is so sexy.

I also have been playing around with my rings. I finally got my silver wire in and it's just a little bit harder to work with than the craft wire. Here are a few I made tonight.

RAMBLINGS

I had hoped to get my etsy stocked by the 1st...I don't see that happening right now. MAYBE I'll get some in there Saturday????
I have a few new things I was playing around with and might add some of those but of course I want to show you guys now.

I made a few rings with beads and took one picture of one that Nikki stole but it is bad...I have to learn how to take pics of beads.

Please pay no attention to the fingernails with polish flaking...I hate that but have been lazy. I cropped the pic but it was way blurry then. I made it with regular craft wire...need to find some jewelry wire.

I also made some new bobbies, I think they are too cute. (Debby you didn't get a sample of them cause I just made them yesterday)


I need to grow my hair out....


I'm almost finished with the girls (nieces) bandana quilts...need to order bandanas for the boys quilts. I think I'm going to do those red and white....those are the HOGS colors,did y'all know that?

TEN THOUGHTS TUESDAY

1. I woke up this morning not wanting to do ANYTHING...I seen Cheryl on FB and she was talking about TTT on 360 and missing it so here I am.

2. My legs have gotten to where they ache and feel heavy,especially at night. If I lie on one side to long it is painful to that leg to turn over. I was reading up on my meds side effects and that is a side effect on the fluid pill. I think I'm going to cut it down although I already take a low dose.

3. While I'm doing NOTHING today I need to put all the new stuff in my etsy. I have given myself a deadline of Oct. 1st...that is getting pretty close. Might not have time any other day this week.

4. The weather here is so pretty. Doors and windows are open and it is cool even though the sun is shining.

5. Kelly is talking about driving home for Christmas by herself...if the weather is good. I don't know how stressful that will be for her but I do for me. She'll do good... :)

6. Daisy is feeling much better. her couch is almost gone. She is going to have to take a fluid pill for the rest of her life though.

7. Nikki is doing good. She called earlier and was gripping about having to pay personal taxes. :) She said " she always wondered what we meant when she was little and we would talk about bills,she wish she still wondered about it instead of knowing." LOL

8. Our lottery started yesterday. I haven't heard anything about people winning yet.Proceeds go the education in Arkansas.

9. Linzy is in band,I don't think he is to excited about it though. He chose the trumbone...this ought to be interesting! :)

10. I did it! 10... now I need to go make some hair pins and button up my flowers. OH! I need a name for my fabric flowers. I've been thinking of a few and wanted some opinions.

2. The Caprice (which is another word for whimsy)
3. The Joli (pretty in french)

My Saturday...

I have actually done something I wanted to do today...well except for washing clothes. I am making bandana quilts as some Christmas presents this year and I accomplished getting 2 of the quilt tops done this morning..actually I started one last night but ANYWAY.


I'm not going to say who these are for because I don't know if they see my blog or not. Thats 2 down and 4 to go.

The other thing...things I have been doing is making new items for my etsy. I am doing a re-haul on the shop and want to get all new items in it by Oct. 1st. Not sure if I'll make it or not but I'm working on it. I am still trying to clear out the old inventory so I have the BOGO going, come get 2 for the price of 1!

FREE Business cards

I was blog hopping earlier and seen where you could go to Marketsplash.com and make FREE business cards. I'm so sorry if I seen it at your blog and I'm not giving your name... I forget where I was.

I didn't need any new cards for Homemade Cleaning but I did get some for my etsy and blog. Sometimes people will ask where I blog at or what the link is to my etsy and now I can just hand them a card. :)

I did put my blogspot blog on the card in stead of Multiply because Multiply wants you to register before commenting and some folks don't wanna do that.

I did post 2 of the flowers on Etsy today so if your interested pop over there and check them out!

Love is strange and mysterious...just like jelly beans.

It has been 8 days since I blogged... I remember when I would post every day,sometimes twice. I don't know why I wait so long any more.

Why the title? Well I just like that quote.I hope you ll have a wonderful Valentines Day.

I put some of these in the Etsy shop, I have a black one, red,blue and pink. The pictures don't do the colors justice. I also have a few things I need to identify, I know they are flowers but the technical word escapes me. I want to add them to the shop also but not sure how to identify them or even how much to ask.

A quick update on my daughters...The oldest is feeling much better, I think she just had this cold/sinus/allergy thing going around.

The youngest goes to the ob gyn Thursday, so we'll know more on that then. Hopefully they can get rid of the cyst with meds...can they do that? If she has to have surgery I reckon I'll be making the trip, can't let my baby have surgery without mama being there.

Has anyone else been having problem with their gmail account? I can't read my mail. It says loading and then it'll change to still working. It stays on still working until I get frustrated and click out.

A few years ago my bestfriends mom passed away and she gave me 2 sets of her sheets. They are 100% cotton and have a high thread count...they are heavenly! I changed the sheets just now and put some on the bed....

They feel so inviting....
