Here’s a new and easy way to dress up your hair…..just bend and snap!

Perfect for prom, wedding, communion or just to add a bit of sparkle to hair any day, we are introducing the new scünci® bendini™ clips! This high fashion hair jewelry adds instant glam in two easy steps, and works on almost any hair length and texture. The scünci bendini is available in three different sizes and a variety of styles, including jeweled crystals, colorful beads and metallics.  It’s also available in the special scünci “girl” line designed especially for the little beauties in your life.

To use the scünci bendini clip, start with gathering your hair in the desired style.  Slide the bendini comb into the hair, and bend and snap it securely in place for an all-day hold.

Look for Scunci Bendini Clips in drug stores, mass market and grocery stores nationwide. The suggested retail price is $4.99 per pack. You can order a collection of Bendini clips online.

I like these clips because before I cut my hair my bangs were forever getting in my eyes! These clips stayed where I put them until I took them out! Now that I cut my hair I'm giving the package I didn't open to my niece. She has long dark hair and I know they will look great and stay in her hair even though its fine.

One Kssnnikkel reader will win a Scunci bendini!!

IM READY FOR A CHANGE!

Me summer '09 Probably the closest I've been to my original in a long time.

Me Dec. '09 Pretty much blonded up!
I am so pale in this pic...blah, I was in Branson FREEZING!

For years I have dyed my hair blonde. I know my original color has changed over the years becuse I see my roots and they don't look like they did when i was ...oh, 17. I think I was around 17 when I first started highlighting lightly...then heavy...now, all the way!
I was born with red hair. Not the fire engine red but strawberry red. I hated my hair growing up. Kids are so cruel when you have red hair and freckles.
When I got older I changed the red hair but the freckles are still here. I have actually grown into them though and they don't take power over my face like they did back in the day. Plus you can't get rid of them so you might as well love them.
Although my memaw told me if I rubbed a wet diaper on them they would go away, I didn't do it! She also said buttermilk would take them off...didn't do that one either! Stuff stinks!
ANYWAY!
Back to my hair. I have tried to find my root color in the store....not happening. So I thought I would get some auburn lowlights and grow my natural out. NOW I might turn around and blonde it out agaihn in no time but for now I am wanting a change.... SO here are a few pics I could find that show what I'm talking about. It wasn't easy to find them.

1. I like her color, not so much all the auburn being underneath but it looks goos.

2. I love hers!! Only maybe I would go a little heavier on the auburn.I like this cut too.

hair color 3 by plastiquegal.

3. Hers is cute but it is more darker with blonde highlights. Maybe I won't go this heavy.

So leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Should I go more like 1, 2 or 3?

*winners for the coupons and book will be announced tomorrow night or Saturday morning so if you want in you best get in while the gettings good!!

ALSO, Something fun is coming in February!!

My Day... so far

I've been gathering things for our yard sale next week.

Some of the things from the closet for the sale.

I even got MOST of the laundry finished, days still young.

I sat and looked out over the porch my husband is building off the new room.

I watered all of the 100 lil cups with seeds in them.

I made some pins and hair clips for the sale next weekend.

These are black and gold, the school colors, hoping that will sell them.See the middle? It's a lil baseball bat, soccer, basket and football.

These are made from a breast cancer awareness bandana.

I thought this little button was darling, I got it in a swap from swap-bot last week.

I made this believe sign for the sale....and this Hope one.

Also this Bless our Nest sign

I watched and listened to Daisy barking at the neighbors cause they had a big sale today and she could hear all the people over there. I also got Nikki an antique plate with pansies around the edge for 50 cents!

I also tackled the big job today. I got up this morning and wentr out to the shop to get a chicken out of the freezer, when I opened the door the most HORRIBLE smell attacked me! Come to find out Britt had thrown the breaker a week or 2 ago and totally forgot the freezer was on the breaker he threw. We lost a big bag of chicken tenderloins, about 5 birds and a turkey...could have been worse. The clean up is finished since he's home now and the freezer is airing out waiting to get new stuff.

What have you done today?
