Bright Eyes and Smelling Good!! **review**

I was recently given the opportunity to do a review for Hard Candy cosmetics AND Bodycology, a bath, body and lifestyle brand. I love makeup and smell good stuff so I was thrilled! Both of these brand products can be bought at walmart and they are very affordable.

I was sent the blush crush- baked blush, baked glitter eyeshadow in meteor eyes and the plumping serum volumizing gloss.
I loved the colors but thought they might be to young for me. :( So my 24 year old daughter used them and she loved them. She said - the eyeshadow lasted on my eyes like 7ish hours. I do like it a lot. The blush lasts all day too it seems. Like it, too. Already knew I loved the lip gloss. Have some of my own already. :)

Those are her words in the email she sent. I had her take pics so they are below. I know she also used the blush as an eyeshadow so it's pulling double duty!

Blush Crush - Baked BlushMeteor Eyes - Baked Meteor Eyeshadow

She's beautiful..huh?

With the Bodycology products I was sent the coconut lime anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap and the Sweet Petals body mist. The scrubbing hand soap is wonderful! It has Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera, Triclosan to kill germs and gentle scrubbing beads to cleanse deeply. After I would wash my hands I kept smelling them!
Coconut Lime Scrubbing Hand Soap

The body mist is berries and sweet pea and it smells great too! It also last a long time.
Sweet Petals body spray
For my birthday my girls got me some warm vanilla sugar Bodycology lotion and I loved it! It smells and last every bit as good and long as the other brand I had been using.
I've always been a fan of that other bath and body place and now that I have tried Bodocology I will be buying their product at a much nicer price at walmart.

This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Products were Provided by Bodycology for the Review

My Etsy shop is back up and running!

I finally put a few things in my Etsy, I've been meaning to do this for months! I have more items coming soon and hope to get some business. If you buy something and you read it here...let me know in the comment box at Etsy and you will get 20% off. Don't pay until I send a bill with the 20% off your total.

I also make them with alligator clips for your hair. Don't see a color you want? Hollar at me and we can get it for you!

I Am So Over FLOSS! **review**

BRYTONPick – FLOSS In Seconds Advantages:
• Convenient & faster interdental cleaning
• Reusable - up to 30 days, less waste, less environmental impact
• Germ resistant - flexible & thin stainless steel edges
• Portable – go anywhere credit card size carry-pouch

First thing I noticed when I opened the BrytonPicks was the cool colors! They even come with their own carrying case which I love!
First time I used them...I LOVED them! My teeth are very close together, so much so that I would sometimes have trouble flossing the back. I'd usually have to use force just to get the floss in between my teeth. I didn't have one problem with the BrytonPick. I think my most favorite thing about them are they are reusable. I carry one in my car and (this might be to much but info but...) I'm always flossing going down the road but it's not in your face the way regular floss can be. I had started using the plastic picks and liked them well enough but the BrytonPicks are by far the best ever. I will definitely be using them from now on and highly recommend them.

To learn more about Brytonpick and see a video go HERE.
BRYTONPick is available @: Meijer Stores, A&P, Pathmark, Winn Dixie, C&S, Kinney Drugs, Save Mart, CVS.com, Drugstore.com, Pearson Dental Supply & Others.  You can ask your local pharmacy or food store manager to order BrytonPick for you; just pass them our info.

I was not compensated for this review. I did receive free product to review.

5 more days.....

That's how long until we have internet again...5 long days. I have been reading blogs.
I know Brad lost his 1st tooth!
Okas kiddos went swimming and Bubby is fearless! I would have been scared watching him.
Belinda made over a desk and it looks GREAT!!
Ian handed monday minute over to 2 ladys that I now follow and hope to get to know.
And a lot of other things that my brain won't let me remember right now.
I'm thinking about checking into internet with direct tv...any of you have it? Know any one who does? I would love to hear what you think of it if you have any info.

So I have lost 7 lbs in 3 weeks...not complaining about the loss but haven't done anything to try to lose. I've been queasy and have had no appetite. Contacted my dr today and he took me off my celebrex. I'm scared I'm going to hurt now from the arthritis. :( I go see him the 14th and guess we will try something else. I have always been healthy and very active.... Not so much any more. Its frustrating and depressing.
.....Ok shake that off...

Good news? I have several reviews and giveaways coming up! Tshirts and cosmetics and a digital keychain and more! I hope to get most posted within 2 weeks.
I keep seeing giveaways with the silhouette.... I would LOVE to win one of those!! They are $300!! I will be trying....in 5 days.

Drex is doing great! Didn't think I'd post without mentioning him did ya? He's growing like a wild weed! I made the baby hat he's wearing and thought it was tiny until I put it on his head.
Ok I'm outta here...this keyboard is tiny.

It's time for Monday Minute with Ian, only Ian has passed it along and I will be lazy and coy paste what he said! :)

As most of you know, I am on a blog break.  I will be posted here and there with no regularity.  So instead of posting the Monday Minute once a week and that being my lone post, I decided to hand over the Monday Minute to my friends Heather and Melissa, permanently.  They have graciously accepted to carry on the tradition of the Monday Minute for me.  This week's Monday Minute marks the 10th month straight, thanks for participating.  Heather can be found at In the Land of Crazy, and Melissa can be found at Day to Day Living.  They have also decided to continue with the random draws for co-hosts.

With that, I will no longer be sending out the emails for the Monday Minute.  Instead of telling Melissa and Heather that you do want to be included on the emails, email them if you do not want the emails with the questions ahead of time.  Thank you.

This week's co-host is....

Not Your Average Single Momma

What is your favorite 80s flick?
Sixteen Candles

One genre of music needs to be banned. Which genre?

What is your all time favorite candy?
reisens...mmmmm last time I said this in a post I had to go buy a bag...and eat it all!

How 'flawed' is your driving record?
1 speeding ticket a long time ago...I wont say anything smart or I will end up getting stopped on the way home!

What was high school mascot?

and finally...

What color socks are you wearing?
I'm not wearing socks...it's summer time!

Once again I'm BEGGING someone to link me...please.

This will be short since I'm on the bb. Our internet is over the limit already. :( it doesn't reset until the 29th and the whole thing is frustrating to me.
I hope to go to Kellys tomorrow and pick a winner for my uprinting.com giveaway. If for some reason I don't I guess it will go for a few more days.
Drex is staying all night. His mama and daddy are going out together for the first time since he was born and Pops and I get to love him up.
He now weighs 11 lbs and is 22 inches long. He is 5 wks and 4 days old. I didn't think it was possible but he gets prettier every day. He smiled for Pops for the first time today.
Nikki has until the 26th of Sept. off from work but her pay will be running out this week I think. She plans on staying home unless things get tough financially.
Kelly is working and talking about going to beauty school at night. She likes doing hair and is really good at it in my opinion.
I have been reading blogs but the bb tells me the handler is to big or some kinda crap when I try to comment, if yall know how to get around that share the knowledge please! I'm gonna stop here and do my favorite thing to do these days. It looks just like the pic. :)
Don't give up on me! I will be back!

Nikki and Drex came out today and visited for a little bit. I tied this bandana around Drex's head and he was a cutie ...until he got mad. Later in the night Nikki sent me this pic of Drex and his daddy.

Vanishing Act by Liz Johnson *book review*

Product Details

Eighteen months ago, Nora James watched as her father was shot in an alley—and then she fl ed. She changed her name, her appearance and her job, hoping to keep her father's shooter at bay. For months, it worked…but now her luck has run out. A ruthless assassin is on her trail, and soon Nora, now known as Danielle, will be found. But this time, she has FBI agent Nate Andersen by her side—right? The handsome agent would give his life to protect Danielle, but he's wary of giving his heart…until a deadly confrontation leaves him with both on the line.

Nora runs away to a small town, changes her name and becomes an auto mechanic. She thinks she has escaped the people searching for her and unknown to her one of them is an FBI agent named Nate.  Nora and Nate are attracted to one another but both have reasons to try and not get involved. In the meantime the Shadow is looking for Nora too and it's not for romance.

I love how Nora and Nate are both Christians and you can tell that by the way they conduct themselves. I liked how the book had romance, suspense, drama and Christianity all wrapped up and I highly recommend this book. It's great for a small book to sit and read in one setting.

My Photo

One of my bestest bloggy friends tagged me HERE... Oka must have known I wasn't going to blog...didn't have anything interesting to say but now I will so here goes!

The rules were:
It's a little survey.  8 Questions.  Then I'm to tag 8 other bloggers with my own questions.

1) What is your favorite body lotion?
Bath and Body warm vanilla sugar

2) Do you prefer bed:soft or hard?
SOFT...I don't like hard beds at all. I have enough trouble sleeping as it is.

3) What is your favorite color for cars (any vehicle)?
I would like a bright red or yellow next I think.

4) What is your favorite season and why (yes this is one question)?
FALL! I love everything about it. The weather, colors and smells.

5) What is your favorite sport and why?
Arkansas Razorback Football!!

6) What level of sports do you prefer (collegiate, pro, amateur, etc)?
college...and only Arkansas

7) How do you really prefer your chicken (if health wasn't an issue), fried, grilled, bbq, baked, etc?
I love BBQ'ed the best since my memaw isn't here to fry it any more...well mamas is pretty good too.

8) What was your favorite game as a child (board, outdoors, video, etc.)?
Kickball! We would all play in memaws yard and she'd stand in the bathroom window and referee us.

Now the part I don't care for ...choosing 8 people to tag-
2. Belinda @ The Seam Rippers
7. Lluvia @ I've Been Thinking
8.Lady Hill @ From Lazy To Lady
If any of you were already tagged by someone else...sorry.
Here's your questions-

1. What's your best memory as a small child?
2.What or who can you think of and a smile instantly comes to your face?
3.Have you ever been arrested?
4.What is the most scared you have ever been?
5.What "creature" would you not voluntarily hold for  $1000?
6.What kind of cell do you have? If any.
7. What's your favorite past time?
8. Do you collect anything?

1)Look, I'm not the blog police.  You do it or not. You are adult enough to make the decision.
2)If you don't do this, it won't hurt my feelings.
3)Just because I didn't pick you, doesn't mean I don't like you.  Grow up.
4)Anyone (even tagged) may leave answers to the questions in my comment section.
