TEN THOUGHTS TUESDAY

1. I woke up this morning not wanting to do ANYTHING...I seen Cheryl on FB and she was talking about TTT on 360 and missing it so here I am.

2. My legs have gotten to where they ache and feel heavy,especially at night. If I lie on one side to long it is painful to that leg to turn over. I was reading up on my meds side effects and that is a side effect on the fluid pill. I think I'm going to cut it down although I already take a low dose.

3. While I'm doing NOTHING today I need to put all the new stuff in my etsy. I have given myself a deadline of Oct. 1st...that is getting pretty close. Might not have time any other day this week.

4. The weather here is so pretty. Doors and windows are open and it is cool even though the sun is shining.

5. Kelly is talking about driving home for Christmas by herself...if the weather is good. I don't know how stressful that will be for her but I do for me. She'll do good... :)

6. Daisy is feeling much better. her couch is almost gone. She is going to have to take a fluid pill for the rest of her life though.

7. Nikki is doing good. She called earlier and was gripping about having to pay personal taxes. :) She said " she always wondered what we meant when she was little and we would talk about bills,she wish she still wondered about it instead of knowing." LOL

8. Our lottery started yesterday. I haven't heard anything about people winning yet.Proceeds go the education in Arkansas.

9. Linzy is in band,I don't think he is to excited about it though. He chose the trumbone...this ought to be interesting! :)

10. I did it! 10... now I need to go make some hair pins and button up my flowers. OH! I need a name for my fabric flowers. I've been thinking of a few and wanted some opinions.

1. The Roxie (after my memaw)
2. The Caprice (which is another word for whimsy)
3. The Joli (pretty in french)

or if you have any suggestions tell me PLEASE!

My favorite flower.

I was playing around the other night with a piece of an old skirt and made a Flower pin that is almost 7 inches across. It is huge and I love it. I added some tulle to make it perk up and then put a camo button in the middle. You can be country and be girly.

I especially like it on this sweater.

FABRIC FLOWER WINNER

A winner was drawn for the fabric flower! I used the old fashion way to choose a winner... wrote your names on a scrap piece of paper with pink ink (that I could barely see to read) and tossed them around and drew the name-

I CAN BE FRUGAL! ...and a small giveaway.

A while back I bought some fabric off of Etsy, it was a big box with all kinds of good size green fabrics. I love it! I made 2 skirts from the fabric so far. I got the big box of fabric for $6!

Pay no attention to the messy bathroom. I wore this one Sunday.

I made these little flowers and appliqued them on, I thought it was pretty good for the first time. I love how it turned out.

I love this one too but haven't had a chance to wear it yet. I have a light blue shirt that matches the little blue flowers perfectly!



Today I stopped at a couple yard sales and at the first one I spent $3 and got 4 things!

This was a book of fabric remnants, pinks,roses and reds. I'm not sure what all I will do with them but I bet I find something! Got it for .50. Couldn't help but make a flower already.

Here's another book of remnants I got. This one was much bigger pieces of fabric and I only paid .75!

I also got this pretty little cross. He's living on the table for the moment until I decide where I want him. It was only .25.

YES I will wear someone elses shoes,after I disinfect them! Look at how cute they are,from gap and dark blue! LOVE THEM! Paid a whopping $1.50 for these but so worth it!

At the 2nd sale I got a book for a quarter and a bench!!! I have been looking for a bench that my cheap...ummmm I mean frugal self would buy. I don't have a pic yet cause my hubby is picking it up for me but it has iron sides and chippy paint and I only paid $5 for it!! FIVE DOLLARS people!!! YES!

I posted these on etsy last night before I went to bed, I sold the camo one before I got up this morning...the internet is a wonderful thing. A lady at the AFB in California bought it.

I actually was just wanting to show someone the 2 flowers I made for a lady at church. She's having a baby girl and I thought these would be cute as part of her gift. They both have alligator clips on them and can be taken off the headband.

But this is the most I have blogged in one day in a LONG time!

FREE Business cards

I was blog hopping earlier and seen where you could go to Marketsplash.com and make FREE business cards. I'm so sorry if I seen it at your blog and I'm not giving your name... I forget where I was.

I didn't need any new cards for Homemade Cleaning but I did get some for my etsy and blog. Sometimes people will ask where I blog at or what the link is to my etsy and now I can just hand them a card. :)

I did put my blogspot blog on the card in stead of Multiply because Multiply wants you to register before commenting and some folks don't wanna do that.

I did post 2 of the flowers on Etsy today so if your interested pop over there and check them out!

My youngest niece,Kennedy, got the little pink and white with blue flowers.


I wanted to show y'all what I've been up to. I made up a bunch of these little fabric flowers and gave some to my SS class girls and my nieces. I also had one on Kel's tote. I added different things on the back to connect them to whatever your wanting to connect them to. Your hair,bags,jackets,dresses...etc.Most of them are approx.3 to 4 inches across and I can make them smaller or larger. I've gotten a lot of nice comments on them and some people said I should even make some up and sell them....So tell me what ya think? . This is one of my favorites...didn't give it away Sunday, I think it would look cute on a denim jacket.
