Ten thought Tuesday featuring cousins

1.Drex and Chevy are the first set of 2nd cousins in our immediate family.


2. Drex isn't real fond of Chevy right now but I'm betting they will be partners in crime before too long.
3. Christmas this year is exciting with 2 new babies in the family...next year will be FUN!


4. I have over 100 cousins. true story


5. When my grampa passed in 2002 there was 109 of us if I'm remembering right.


6. We have had quite a few born since then. I'm from a big  HUGE family.


7. All of the 100+ cousins come from 6 kids that are my aunts,uncle and mom.


8. They include 1st,2nds,3rds a few 4ths and steps.


9. I have personally met most all of them.


10. Playing with Chevy and Drex today has inspired this TTT on cousins.... Chevy was born Oct 5 and Drex July 12...yep I'm betting partners in crime!

TEN THOUGHTS TUESDAY

1. I woke up this morning not wanting to do ANYTHING...I seen Cheryl on FB and she was talking about TTT on 360 and missing it so here I am.

2. My legs have gotten to where they ache and feel heavy,especially at night. If I lie on one side to long it is painful to that leg to turn over. I was reading up on my meds side effects and that is a side effect on the fluid pill. I think I'm going to cut it down although I already take a low dose.

3. While I'm doing NOTHING today I need to put all the new stuff in my etsy. I have given myself a deadline of Oct. 1st...that is getting pretty close. Might not have time any other day this week.

4. The weather here is so pretty. Doors and windows are open and it is cool even though the sun is shining.

5. Kelly is talking about driving home for Christmas by herself...if the weather is good. I don't know how stressful that will be for her but I do for me. She'll do good... :)

6. Daisy is feeling much better. her couch is almost gone. She is going to have to take a fluid pill for the rest of her life though.

7. Nikki is doing good. She called earlier and was gripping about having to pay personal taxes. :) She said " she always wondered what we meant when she was little and we would talk about bills,she wish she still wondered about it instead of knowing." LOL

8. Our lottery started yesterday. I haven't heard anything about people winning yet.Proceeds go the education in Arkansas.

9. Linzy is in band,I don't think he is to excited about it though. He chose the trumbone...this ought to be interesting! :)

10. I did it! 10... now I need to go make some hair pins and button up my flowers. OH! I need a name for my fabric flowers. I've been thinking of a few and wanted some opinions.

TTT

1. Sunday was my mamas birthday. I was in Mississippi that day and didn't get to hug her. Last Thursday was my nephew Jonathans birthday, he turned a big 7! This Thursday is my first born childs birthday. She will be 26.

that makes me feel older. I still see her in the carseat riding down the road at 2 singing Like a Virgin (yeah good song for my baby huh) and she LOVED Michael Jackson's Thriller. Her little face would be so serious waiting to hear the "scary parts."

2. I went to clean a house and the lady was in the hospital (I'm praying for you Carol) and her husband was in meetings so I couldn't get in...so I lost $ BUT I called the ladies I was suppose to clean for tomorrow and cleaned them today which means I'M OFF TOMORROW AND THURSDAY!

3. I was sent an email from this place I signed up for to do reviews on products. You blog about the product and they send you free stuff! The better news is they ask if I'd be interested in having a giveaway with their product....WELL YES! That means hopefully soon I'll be having a giveaway with a new product and you can maybe win and try it too.

4. We went on a short vacation. Drove up LA. into MS and stayed in Gulf Shores AL. We went riding the first night checking out how the "rich" live and crossed over into FL. In AL we went to the Battleship and submarine in Mobile. It was pretty interesting but if I never get into another submarine it will be OK with me. How in the world do those sailors live like that? It is so compact and the doors so small and I am so claustrophobic! Good thing they aren't reallllly long or I might have had to have oxygen. Britt didn't know though...I was ahead of them,moving fast.
We also went to the Vicksburg National Military Park. I highly recommend this place. Especially if your into the Civil War.... (Myk). The cemetery had 17000 people in it and 13000 were unknown soldiers.
Sad.

5. While in FL I bought a new pair of shorts. I normally don't do shorts very often but these were cute and it's HOT in FL... well anyway, I took 2 sizes into the dressing room and I LOST A SIZE! YES all that walking is paying off.

6. I still have to do my book review so I'll be having a giveaway with that also. Can't say any more or I want be having a review. Shhhhh

7. Daisy stayed at Nikkis while we were gone. I can't believe how much I love that d-o-g. Nikki said I never ask about her when I'd call and she was my first born and I loved her best. Those were her words. So I texted her one night and here's our conversation.

me: How are you and Klaun and Gauge and Bettie? (Gauge and Bettie are their dogs)

Her: Were fine, thank you.

me: That's good. (wondering when she's going to mention Daisy)

....waiting....waiting... growing impatient.

Me: Ummmm Daisy?

..... waiting....waiting.....Grrrrrr

Me: Britt wants to know how Daisy is doing?

Her: I knew that's what you care about. I'm taking her to mams and letting Blondie eat her!


LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Kid is a nut! Mam is my mom and Blondie is my mom's...ok my dad's psycho chihuahua. Her and Daisy grew up together and were best friends then Blondie went nuts and hates Daisy. Can you imagine that?

8. I was home about 30 miutes and Nikki met me at Wal hel..I mean mart with Daisy. I drove Britts truck and it gets up and goes without you realizing it and a trooper passed me. When one passes me I automatically look in the rear view mirror for brake lights...You know you do too. ANDDDD his were on, Yep he pulled me over. I was very lucky though cause he just gave me a warning, I just knew I was going to get a speeding ticket because of how Dasy was acting. You would have thought she was a pit or something ferocious! I still thank you officer unintelligible handwriting.

9. Kelly texted me this morning and said she had won the weight loss thing for the week(I think) at her job. Lil booger won $47, I would lose more if someone paid me! YOU GO GIRLY!!

10. I think I had 3 thoughts in my first one so I'll just add that as my 10th thought.

DAY 6 and Ten thought Tuesday

Over at multiply I do a TTT or Ten thought Tuesday, I thought I'd add it over here.


I have pics from my day but my connection keeps breaking up so hopefully they post later...

1. I got 1 whole wall stained today. Britts going to put the wood up tomorrow. Were getting closer and closer to moving in to our room!

2. I went to get a wash cloth out of the bathroom and a splinter about half an inch long with UNDER my thumb nail! OUCH, that is painful....still.

3. Minwax is very stinky and I think it is killing my brain cells.

4. I made beef stew for the first time in probably 20 years today. It turned out delicious if I say so myself. I also made cornbread with onions and cheese...oh my, it was so good. I haven't had bread in a week and I'm telling you it was SO SO SO good.

5. Good thing I got 30 minutes on the elliptical tonight after that meal.

6. We have 2 brush piles to burn and it keeps raining. One is HUGE and Britt has been adding to it for many years. Might need to buy hotdogs that night!

7. I've been making bookmarks, I'm in a swap where that's what were swapping so I'm learning as I go. Magnetic bookmarks are really neat.

8. We got The Dark Knight in the mail today!

9. BUT Nip/Tuck comes on tonight and I can't get in to a movie...might miss Christian!

10. We also got Jumper, anyone seen that one? Is it any good?
