A FULL WEEK!

Day 7...I did it a whole week. Today I did 30 minutes on the elliptical.

I also got 2 swaps complete so I can mail them soon. I have another that I need to get started on and one that hasn't been opened yet, so I don't know who my partner will be.

I made some bookmarks but when I see some of the others online mine look like a 4 year old made them. :(

Well maybe ...hopefully I'll get better and my swap partner will forgive me. I tried to upload pics again but AGAIN my internet is in and out. *sigh*

DAY 6 and Ten thought Tuesday

Over at multiply I do a TTT or Ten thought Tuesday, I thought I'd add it over here.


I have pics from my day but my connection keeps breaking up so hopefully they post later...

1. I got 1 whole wall stained today. Britts going to put the wood up tomorrow. Were getting closer and closer to moving in to our room!

2. I went to get a wash cloth out of the bathroom and a splinter about half an inch long with UNDER my thumb nail! OUCH, that is painful....still.

3. Minwax is very stinky and I think it is killing my brain cells.

4. I made beef stew for the first time in probably 20 years today. It turned out delicious if I say so myself. I also made cornbread with onions and cheese...oh my, it was so good. I haven't had bread in a week and I'm telling you it was SO SO SO good.

5. Good thing I got 30 minutes on the elliptical tonight after that meal.

6. We have 2 brush piles to burn and it keeps raining. One is HUGE and Britt has been adding to it for many years. Might need to buy hotdogs that night!

7. I've been making bookmarks, I'm in a swap where that's what were swapping so I'm learning as I go. Magnetic bookmarks are really neat.

8. We got The Dark Knight in the mail today!

9. BUT Nip/Tuck comes on tonight and I can't get in to a movie...might miss Christian!

10. We also got Jumper, anyone seen that one? Is it any good?

DAY 5


See the lil man up there? That is what I felt like after working all day then doing the elliptical for 30 minutes! I know...I'm a wuss. Just let me complain a second and then I'll be over it....

...ok I'm over it.

I'm off to make some bookmarks. I'm in a swap on swap-bot and need to get some made so I'm not late mailing them. Have you checked out swap-bot? Wellll you should.
Ok I have to go try to be creative...TRY is the key word here.

I missed Saturday....

BUT... I did exercise ,just not on the elliptical. I spent nearly 5 hours steady working on a fence line. It involved dragging brush,small trees and wire AFTER I cut it and taking it to the brush pile. I have to believe 5 hours working out side was a little better than 20 minutes on the elliptical.

Tonight we spent about an hour working the fence line....maybe an hour and a half but as of right now I do still plan on getting on the elliptical.

I think the last 2 days working outside have done me more good thean anything I've done in months.

Day 1

This is my torturer AKA as the stride climber. I was up to 30 minutes at a time but whne my legs started hurting worse and I had to get test ran I quit. I got on it today after working all day and spent 20 minutes...that 20 minutes seemed like 2 hours! But I did it,now I just have to keep it up. I'm not real comfortable sharing my weight right now but will post if / when I lose.

Pictures,weight loss and exercise!

new look

This is my new old look. I chopped my bangs off last night. I have always had bangs and decided to grow them long and they bugged me so bad. I feel much better!






Well this is the last day of 2008, wonder how long it'll take me to remember to write 2009? I'm not one for New Years resolutions but I do have something I AM going to do in 2009. I want to exercise more and eat BETTER. I won't say diet because that's a mistake. I've been having leg pain but the test came back that all is good so I'm getting back on the elliptical and when it warms up a bit I'm getting back to walking more. I've gained about 20 lbs in 2 years! That has got to come off. So I'll be posting my accomplishments (and there will be some, thinking positive) on here and I figure if I get any readers then I'll have someone to "answer" to.
First post will be going up tomorrow....wish me luck and give me crap!
