The Last Christian by David Gregory *book review and giveaway*

x

The Last Christian by author David Gregory is a book that I did not want to put down. It takes place in 2088 and our world is totally different. Christianity has died out and it's not so far fetched in my mind that this is happening right now.
Also in the book brain transplants are happening, which could possibly eliminate physical death. People spend more time in VR (virtual reality) than they do in real life. Almost everyone has access to The Grid (kind of like the internet but very advanced), through neural implants.

The main character Abigail Caldwell grew up in the jungles of Papua New Guinea as a missionary's daughter. For thirty-four years she had never left the jungle until a strange disease swept through her village. In an attempt to help them, she left her people and traveled by canoe to a civilized area looking for help. Sadly she was too late but had a 16 year old message waiting for her from her grandparents. In the message she learns she is to be a missionary to the United States.

This book is a good futuristic thriller and I would recommend it to everyone.

I have one copy to give away, if your interested you can leave a comment telling me what your favorite book is that you have read recently. That way I can get an idea of some new books to read!

Oh please enter me to win! The last book I read was Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. Riveting to the very end! It has one of those "No freakin' way" moments in it too! :)

I am reading a book right now called Pharaoh by Valerio Massimo Manfredi. A thriller involving a last tomb in Egypt.
