Click the link and play along!

(Dreams)
Permit each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every nite of our lives.
~William Dement~

Think about it...the things we can be and do in our dreams...and we wake up without any harm done.

Love is strange and mysterious....just like jellybeans.
~unknown~

You know it's true, specially with the gourmet kind.

A life watered by the tears of tragedy and suffering....
often becomes the most fertile soil for spiritual growth.
~unknown~

All you have to do is open your heart.

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,a refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 9:9

When I was going thru my divorce with the ex my preacher told me to read Psalms. There are so many verses in Psalms that tells us about the Lord being a refuge and this is my favorite...I suppose you could say it's my life verse because I go to it on a daily basis.

When Hearts listen....angels sing

I was looking through some old stuff today and came across some of my favorite quotes. I thought I'd share them on here with.....well with myself I guess. Yep, I'm feeling sorry for me....it just seems so hard to make friends on this site! Grrrr maybe it's just me, I'm going to post them anyway and then crawl in bed with my book.

By your own soul, learn to live
And if men thwart you take no heed.
If men hate you have no care.
Sing your song, dream your dream,
Hope your hope and pray your prayer.
~Parkenham Beatty~

To every man there openeth A way, and ways, and a way. And the high soul climbs the high way, And the low soul gropes the low: And in between, on the misty flats, The rest drift to and fro. But to every man there openeth A high way and a low, And every man decideth. The way his soul shall go.
~John Oxenham~

It takes years to build up trust, but only seconds to destroy it.
You can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes.
After that you'd better know something.
Don't compare yourself to the best others can do,
But to the best you can do.
It's not what happens to people that's important.
It's what they do about it.
Always leave loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.
You control your attitude or it controls you.
It isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are,
But you are responsible for who you become.
Even if you do the right thing for the wrong reason,
It's still the wrong thing to do.
