Trying to catch yall up! *a little graphic*

So last night around 9pm Nikki calls and says when she went to the bathroom that something gushed out. I told her to go to or call hospital. The nurse tells her it sounds like her mucus plug and to wait a while and if it soaks anything again to call back. 

Around 11pm she calls again and says it has done it again and calls the hospital again. This time they tell her it was her mucus plug (I've had 2 kids and never knew about a mucus plug!)and if it was her water (I've had 2 kids and my water never broke on it's own, the dr did it both times)it wouldn't have waited 2 hours to do it again so we wait some more. 

Nikki was told if you go to hospital call me (I live an hour away) Soooo at 5am I get a text, it says, I'm fine. went to hospital and they say my water hasn't broke and I'm only dilated to 2. They said she would probably have contractions until either her water broke or they induced which will be Tuesday am. 

I called her a bit ago and her contractions aren't as strong as they were last night and not as close so we wait......again.

Why will my phone let me send a sms message to blogger and it will post and I can't send a mms so that i can have a longer post? It says I'm suppose to be able to do that. If any of you are blackberry/blogger post savvy please fill me in.

 Nikki went to the dr today and they picked a date to induce...if Drex doesn't come on his own. 

So Tuesday the 13th I will finally see my 1st grandbaby in the flesh! I am so excited!!!!

I thought it would be fun to have a contest to see who could get to the closes time of birth. If you want to play a long comment what time you think he will make an appearance and the winner with the first correct answer will get one of my handpainted personalized signs. I thought I had more pictures to show of them but I cleaned them all off the computer. :(

I won a contest!

I won a pay it forward contest! This was the book I received and I got really lucky because I just started reading the Stephanie Plum series!! Loved the book! Yep, I have already finished it.

So after the Holidays I'll be hosting a pay it forward contest, stay tuned....

All work and no play.....

That's how I've been feeling lately. Work,work,work. I have a million things I want to do and can't find the time to do them because I'm busy doing the things I HAVE to do.
I did go to a baby shower, my cousins youngest daughter is having a boy, naming him Samuel Aiden. I think that's a pretty name. I made him a fleece blanket, those are so easy! I found the fleece a week or so ago in the clearance dept in walmart and bought it for ????, I didn't know who but I now know where it went! She loved it...thank God!

I also made some more tags, that can be addicting. No pic of them. :( I'm now making a name banner for a young girl that has taken to my youngest daughter, I think she'd move in with her if her mom would let her! I've never made a banner before so if anyone has any advice send it my way!

I also cut my hair...again. I think I like it like this so I'll leave it alone, for a while.

Help me name my Dotee.

I left the opening in the wrong spot,boy it was hard to pull her right side out!

I finally made my 1st Dotee doll...she's not perfect but I did learn a lot from making her and hope to do better next time, I love her anyway.I didn't have the right material for her face so I used what I had. I do need a name for her though...so if you wanna help me name her, leave your suggestion in the comments and if I choose your name I'll send you a present. Not sure what yet...I might give you some choices and let you choose. If you'd like to meet the lady who brought us the dotee doll then click here.

Her tail needs to be tighter to her body.

I've also been making some gift tags. I thought I'd share them also....

This is my favorite, i found this tag on my closet floor, I really need to straighten up the closet. I ripped up an old Christmas card and used some tissue paper and this was the end result....I think I'll keep this one!

These are going to a swap partner from swap-bot.com. I think they are cute with there little Christmas characters.The blue one on the far left has a wreath on it, it's hard to see. The blue one at the far right has a puppy and kitten sleeping together.

These are 2 little simple one with poems on them.
I made these for my daughter, they have her inital on the black side of 3 of them. There's 3 with snowmen, she loves snowmen. The 3 with the initals also have LIVE,LOVE,LAUGH on the red side...which looks pink in these pics.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these, they are all brown with the lil polka dots on the back and then the fronts have words on them. All of the cards are distressed.
