Sunday Ramblings

I didn't got to church today. :( For the first time in several months my fibromyalgia has decided to flare up. I hear some people think that this disease doesn't exist...I beg to differ. I should have known it was getting ready to flare up last night because it was so hot and although we had the air on it was comfortable but not cold in the house. I was under a quilt getting caught up on Miami Medical. A quilt! In June ...In Arkansas with temps reaching 90+ and the humidity had to of been at least 90% yesterday. It was just miserable.

I just want to know why people think this doesn't exist---

Fibromyalgia is a common condition characterized by long-term, body-wide pain and tender points in joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Fibromyalgia has also been linked to fatigue, morning stiffness, sleep problems, headaches, numbness in hands and feet, depression, and anxiety.
Fibromyalgia can develop on its own or along with other musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.
The overwhelming characteristic of fibromyalgia is long-standing, body-wide pain with defined tender points. Tender points are distinct from trigger points seen in other pain syndromes. Unlike tender points, trigger points can occur in isolation and represent a source of radiating pain, even in the absence of direct pressure.
Fibromyalgia pain can mimic the pain that occurs with various types of arthritis. However, the significant swelling, destruction, and deformity of joints seen in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis does not occur with fibromyalgia syndrome alone.
The soft-tissue pain of fibromyalgia is described as deep-aching, radiating, gnawing, shooting or burning, and ranges from mild to severe. Fibromyalgia sufferers tend to wake up with body aches and stiffness.
For some patients, pain improves during the day and increases again during the evening, though many patients with fibromyalgia have day-long, unrelenting pain. Pain can increase with activity, cold or damp weather, anxiety, and stress.

I
t's for real folks...trust me.

It doesn't help that I'm having a severe allergic reaction to the celebrex for the arthritis and might have to go off it. :(
It's my miracle drug for pain.

Yesterday Kelly and I went to Nikki's and got Drex's room almost complete. All I have to do is put the doors back on the armoire and touch up the paint. We are ready for him! I know his mama is ready...she's so swollen but her blood pressure is great so she's still working and waiting.

Kelly is still looking for a job. I think she's getting a little discouraged, she's wanting her own place so bad. It's hard to move back in with a parent after you have been on your own . I have confidence she will find one soon.

I haven't mentioned the sunroom in a while. Britt is doing the wiring this week and then we can put the walls up. I am excited to get it completed! Here's a few pics of the work so far. 2 walls are solid and 2 are all windows and a door. I love the light that comes in there...my plants will too this Winter!

One outside wall done and the other plastic. This was a while ago.All the walls and windows are up now.

Door is in!

Wall with door going into living room.

I'm heading to the couch...yall have a wonderful Sunday.

Friday Fragments:Thanks to the SugarMommas, doctors and babies!

I've see a few friends doing Friday fragments and thought I would link up today. Wanna play along? Click that button!

I received a email the yesterday with the subject line saying CHALLENGE 1... first thing i thought was about Supah's Island and what was wrong...the challenge had been won by MommyBrain and Chitown Momma, why am I getting this email.
Well to my surprise it was MommyBrain telling me Chitown Momma didn't have a blog and MommyBrain had just gotten a makeover and she wanted to know if I would like the blog makeover she won from http://sostylilized.blogspot.com/ who donated (thank you) to our Island game.
Ummmm....YES! She said Supah needed to know right away so I as soon as I was stopped at a red light I messaged her back real quick before I lost the wonderful gift she was giving me.

Thank you to the SugarMommas!!!
I've been wanting this for a long time but am to cheap frugal to buy one!
I have already talked to Jessica and should have new makeover in March!!!
YAY!!!

Yesterday I went to the doc...I have to go back to get the MRI cause my ins. company said so and apparently they are the boss of me.
He did diagnose me with Ankylosing Spondylitis. (a form of arthritis)
 definiton of AS...

Ankylosing spondylitis, commonly referred to as arthritis of the spine, is a chronic inflammatory rheumatic disease which belongs to the group of conditions known as spondyloarthopathies. Ankylosing spondylitis can cause the spine to become rigid or fused, making it impossible to move the neck and spine.

Lovely huh? I also have fibromyalgia. I had my pity party on the way home and now I'm ready to start treatment and feel better!

On to happier news! Wednesday we get to find out what were getting!! My first g-baby!! I am so excited...then Nikki and I are going to Little Rock shopping. Just wish Kelly was here to go with us.
