A little rambling....

Mama went home! For those who didn't know, my mom was in the hospital. Saturday night dad took her up there and they said a terrible UTI, gave her antibiotics and pain meds. I got a phone call Sun. night after church that my aunt had taken her back up there and they kept her thid time...should have done that Sat. night. I stayed up there Sunday night and I don't think either of us got much sleep. Mama was hurting bad and you know if yuo wanna sleep that night time at the hospital is no place to be. About 5am a nurse came in and I heard her tell mama "Mrs. H we came to prep you for surgery."

me- huh? *still half asleep*

mama- ok *real softly*

at this point I KNOW mama is out of it! As I'm trying to get my bearing and sit up I'm saying "no no no no."

nurse- Mam?

me- She got here last night with a UTI, she's not having surgery.

nurse- Her chart says she is.

me- Well she's not going ANY WHERE until I talk to someone.

nurse- *acting frustrated (at me!)* I'll be right back.

Forward 10 minutes and another nurse comes in....
"I'm so sorry we got her mixed up with another person who's last name starts with an H.

WHAT!
If I hadn't been there...would mama be one legged right now, or maybe have a pacemaker she doesn't need? Geez....

Around 30 minutes after that nurse left mama says in a sleepy voice " We could have made some money."

***Sigh***

But she's home now and has all her parts and no extras so Praise the Lord!

On another note I made 4 flowers last night that I think are my favorites! they are so pretty.
They are in the shop.

That is incredibly scary!!! To mix her up with someone with an H name- yikes! Sounds like your mom has a great sense of humor.

Stopping by from SITS to say "hi" and welcome. I know that you will enjoy being a part of this vibrant community of bloggers.

Wow, how thankful that you were there to stop them! I just can't believe things like that can still happen. And they should have made that nurse come back and apologize personally. Well I am glad she is back home. And hope she's feeling better!

I am stopping by from SITS to say welcome! Glad you could join us and we look forward to seeing you around!
