1. What has been your most memorable Mother's Day? (with your mom, as a mom, or with your wife)

The one that really stands out to me was when the girls were little and we lived in Reno. We were living with the inlaws and Jim had gotten hurt on the job. We had NO money. I still don't know where the money came from (probably my MIL) but the girls gave me some pink carnations and the look on their faces was priceless. I still have those dried up carnations.
2. Have you ever been pulled over for speeding and were you able to talk your way out of it?

Twice! Once I was doing 50 in a 35 trying to get to a birthday party on time and it was the 1st time I was ever pulled over. I was so scared I didn't even try to talk myself out of it. It was like $200!!

The 2nd time was last summer. We got home from vacation and I took Britt's truck to get my Daisy from Nikki. (she kept her while we were gone) On the way home I seen a trooper pass and his brake lights lit up...I knew he had me. I wasn't use to driving the truck and it goes fast. (that's why I like it!) The whole time the trooper was talking to me Daisy was barking and I thought for sure he was gonna get me. I told him I wasn't use to drivin hubbys truck and he let me go with a warning.
3. What's the oldest thing you have hanging in your closet?

Hmmm, probably my black skirt..I've had that thing forever it seems but hey they never go out of style.
4. Do you whiten your teeth?

5. Underwear or Panties..What do you call your "unmentionables"?

I call mine panties...I call Britt's panties to frustrate him. hehe.
6. If you could go on vacation right now..today..where would you go?

Some where very quiet...a beach on the East coast.
7. Do you get offended when people cuss on their blogs?

It's their blog so I can't really be offended. I don't want anyone telling me or even commenting on what I do on mine..... unless it's nice!

That would be like me going in their house and telling them how to talk.

8. If you had to give up one luxury item, it would be....?

Ummm coffee?

 I was going to say tv but then I'd miss Survivor and Idol!

I really don't wanna give up coffee though.-------

Things I find on my camera after it's been hijacked.

What I've been up to lately.

When I first started blogging at blogger it was about my family and my crafts and remodeling.
I've kinda gotten away from the crafts and remodeling...I still do them but I almost never post about them so today I thought I would show yall a little bit of what I've been up to.

Kelly gave me this mirror/picture frame/hanger and it was missing 2 hooks and was brown. I took it not knowing what I was going to do with it then thought it could be made into something cute for Drex's room...maybe for his hats and such.

Before..or during cause that's when I thought to take a pic.

After...just needs some pics of his cute face!

I made a few pony holders and matching earrings for little girls the other night...sorry the pic is so blurry-

I had some big pickle jars I keep cereal and oatmeal in and they were plain looking so I spray painted the lids and added a little twine with a decorative paper with what was in the jar with instructions n back.

This jar I bought at a yard sale,I wonder what was in it to begin with.

Last is my favorite thing to do. This sign is for my parents. They have it hanging on their porch right now. In the lower left hand corner it says est. '79.

I made Drex one with his name on it in bright colors,it's actually behind the Harrison one.

So Nikki made it to Colorado Springs, Colorado safely. She said her feet swelled quite a bit but other than that no problems. Her MIL had a bunch of goodies for Drex so they will be bringing a car load home! We were talking on the phone after church and she was saying the sky looked like someone had painted it so she sent me a pic.
 God is an incredible artist!

We made it through the storms without any damage. The wind got really high and it was scary for a bit but all is good in my small part of Arkansas. Not so much in others though.
They even mentioned the community I live in on the weather saying it was going to hit us at 7:27. Yall! They never mention my community...you can blink and miss where I live...literally!

Kelly is packing up! She should be here around the 23rd of this month. She's been gone for over 7 years. She left a child (in my eyes) and is coming back a grown woman. *tears*
She will be living in Little Rock which is an hour to 2 hours away...not bad at all considering she's 10 hours away right now.

Some FAST Ramblings and Why I LOVE Karen at TOOTHSOAP!

I can't stay on long...we have tornadoes all around and I don't want my computer to get fried....again!

I started my arthritis meds today...don't know how long it will take for them to kick in but I'm ready!!

Nikki and Chris are leaving for Colorado tomorrow...I am so worried,I hate when my kids travel!! Please pray for safe travels for them.

Well the next morning I had an email from paypal saying Toothsoap deposited a $150 into my account.....I thought OH NO! Someone messed up!
Then it said they left a note and the note said that after Karen heard what I was spending the money on she decided to give an extra $50 to go toward his carseat!
YALL! I was bawling...I don't use that word often but there's no other way to describe it.
Karen and Toothsoap  has been a huge blessing to me and they have no idea how big. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart and they can expect a pic of Drex in his carseat!
