Living with chronic pain

Ankylosing spondylitis (pronounced ank-kih-low-sing spon-dill-eye-tiss), or AS

It's AS awareness month.
It's an autoimmune inflammatory  arthritis.
It's not about wear and tear like with "normal" arthritis.  Your body will attack itself, nice huh?
It hurts
Alot.

There's are more people who have AS than MS and lupus yet very few people have heard of the disease.
Usually along with it you will most likely end up with fibromyalgia.  Auto immune diseases tend to like company, from my research.

I was dx with AS and fibro approx 4 years ago. 
Most days are good even though our pain levels aren't like everyone else's.  My 3 or 4 might be an 8 or 9 for someone without a chronic pain illness.
Lately my days haven't been so good though. I'm not sure why but I'm blaming the weather.... why not?

Well hello

Pandas are in my mind today. This lady at this house I clean has this stuffed panda that cries and moves. This panda makes eerie noises and it gives me chills. I dont like it.
At another house I  clean theres a panda too...a fur one, real fur. Creepy.
What's something that creeps you out?

Oh and yes I'm back....again. I think blogger is who listens to me bestand I've missed that.

Mustache Overload

Drex wanted a mustache and he got one plus a hat with one on it.
He's the best model...most of the time, although I had to bribe him for the close up picture.

I know I haven't been around for a while, I hoped everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a happy new year!

Grape Bonnet

I know it's purple but it's such a pretty dark purple it reminds me of grape bubble yum bubble gum. Did you ever try to chew that in class at school? You can not get away with it. The smell is so yummy you get caught every time.
Not that I chewed gum in school or would know you get caught first hand.....ahemmmm
Anyway back to this sweet bonnet!
I've never made one before and it was so easy. They looked complicated to me and I'd never try them. I'm glad I finally did. Now to see if there is a market out there for them.

If anyone is interested, it's newborn size and it's $16 plus $2.50 shipping.

Now on to something else. I wish I had never stopped blogging, it seems I lost all my readers! I'm not giving up though.

A First For Me

I'm making a crocheted baby blanket, it's the first one I've tried. I like doing projects that are almost instant. I get bored real quick when something takes a while. This is for a baby girl that will be here soon so hopefully that will kick my rear in gear and I'll get it done!

 I have had this blog on my mind for over a week! I miss blogging, between work, crocheting and family I just haven't made time for blogging in almost a year! I'm hoping to do better, especially since I'm finding out just how easy it is to blog from my phone . here's some pictures of some of my hats, I started crocheting and it has grown from there. I've not gone without orders since August of last year. I feel very blessed to be able to do something I enjoy and make money from it.

 of course I couldn't do a post without a picture if , he will be 3 in July. Time sure flies when your having fun and staying busy. Hopefully I haven't lost everyone of my friends. Pink Tomato Festival

Last night we took Drex to the Pink Tomato Festival. If you've ever heard of Bradley county tomatoes that us what the festival is about. Its been going on for years, hubby said he remembers going when he was the same age as Drex and that was......well a few years ago!

Drex wanted to ride everything. He rode the rides all by himself except for the merry go round. I was scared he would fall off when it started going up and down so I rode with him. His papa videoed us you can heart Drex laughing so hard. I think I enjoyed it almost as much as he did!

He seen the screamer and wanted on it....I don't even get on that crazy thing.

We are going to Silver Dollar City in a couple weeks and watching him enjoy his self so much last night let's us know he's going to like SDC.

Glimpses of where I come from.....

I think I live in a beautiful state and can find so many things that are peaceful to me.

Bales of hay all lined up in a field, a lone deer grazing in another field or even a grown up area that has potential.

I'd love to see the country side or city of where you live!

My Review

This is the third book in this series by Judy Serrano and I'm still wanting more! This book picks up where Brother Number Three left off and Lilly is still just as confused! I think that's why I like her so much....I can relate... to the confusion, not all these brothers head over heels in love with her!

I'm not even sure who I want Lilly with!

Thank you Judy Serrano for another fabulous book.... eagerly awaiting the next one!

I highly recommend this book...just be sure to read the first two before you read this one.

Mothers Day

YARN YARN YARN

I really hate that I look goofy in hats. I see so many Id love to make and wear. I've been super busy making them for other people though. Above....where ever blogger droid inserted my pictures are some I've made recently. The lil pink one is the first I've made with a brim around it. Its going to a special little girl who is turning one. The puppy I made for Drex not to long ago, the gray with flower is for sale, its a tester so its marked down and the flip flops are mine!
Of course I couldn't leave a Recent pic of Drex out. Hes getting so big. He wanted to take Mickey home with him. Looks terrified in this pic but its just because that mouse had a big head and it was hard for him to get a grip on Drex.
I'm not even sure how many of you are even still reading my blog...when I post, but thanks for hanging in there.

Please keep my cousin Kathy in your prayers. Its been over a month now since any one has heard from her. (The story is in previous post)
